Visit from the Rev. Millicent Yeboah Asuamah and Joint Worship Service

UMC hosted a visit with the Rev. Millicent Yeboah Asuamah in October. Millicent preached the sermon, God Is Forgiving, at a joint worship service with Maple Grove Mennonite Church on October 9. Jared Byler from Maple Grove led the worship service, assisted by pastors Marv Friesen and Alan Kauffman. A woman's singing group, with members from both churches, sang Higher, Higher and My Soul Cries Out. After the service, everyone enjoyed a fellowship meal.

Millicent is currently studying at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN (sponsored by ELCA) and will graduate in 2012. She attended Good News Theological College and Seminary.
