Registered Users Terms and Conditions for My UMC

Registered users on the University Mennonite Web site agree to conduct themselves online in a "manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ."

When Jesus was asked (in Matthew 22:36) which was the greatest commandment, he answered,

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" 

We believe that the love Christ speaks of in the Gospels extends to our online neighbors.  Therefore, our online interactions and postings, including the information in personal profiles, should reflect the love of Christ as well as demonstrate respect for differences in beliefs and practices.

University Mennonite Church reserves the right to remove users from the Web site if online behaviors do not reflect love and respect for other community members.
