How to Make the University Mennonite Church Your Home Page

Follow the instructions below to make the UMC Web site be your home page.  That means  that each time you start up your browser, you'll go right to the UMC home page.  Keep up-to-date by checking out the church calendar and reviewing information in the Latest Updates block on the right side of the home page.

If you use Internet Explorer for your browser, follow these instructions

1. Click on the Tools menu from the upper right hand side of your browser window (it should have a picture of a little cog wheel and the word Tools). 
2. Choose Internet Options from the drop down menu
3. In the box next to the icon of the little house highlight and delete what's already there
4. Then type, www.universitymennonite.org
5. Click on OK

Your home page is now set.  If you close your browser and start it up again you should get the University Mennonite Church welcome page

If you use Firefox for your browser, follow these instructions

1. Click on Tools from the top menu bar
2. Choose Options from the drop down menu
3. In the box labeled Home Page, highlight and delete what's already there
4. Then type, www.universitymennonite.org
5. Click on OK

Your home page is now set.  If you close your browser and start it up again you should get the University Mennonite Church welcome page

If you use Safari for your browser, follow these instructions

1. Click on the Safari menu
2. Choose Preferences from the drop down menu
3. In the box labeled Home Page, hightlight and delete what's already there
4. Then type, www.universitymennonite.org
5. Click on the red X to close

Your home page is now set.  If you close your browser and start it up again you should get the University Mennonite Church welcome page
